Afghanistan Crossroads of Cultures exhibit
Tabla for Two was privileged to be invited by the Ambassador of the Embassy of Afghanistan in Washington, D.C. for a private viewing of the Afghan antiquities. It was exciting and moving to see these magnificent historical artifacts, dating back to the 3rd through 6th century. These treasures had been smuggled into the US and are now returned to Afghanistan where they belong.

Farewell to Afghan Ambassador Mohib
Last night was the ‘Farewell’ party at the Embassy of Afghanistan for Afghan Ambassador Hamdullah Mohib, Mrs.Mohib and their family. The garden looked beautiful with twinkling lights, flowers and smiling guests. Lovely breeze and the music of Afghanistan filled the evening air. It was all quite magical.
Tabla For Two has been greatly honored to play at the Embassy throughout the Ambassador’s three years of service. We wish him and his family peace and happiness in their new journey.
